Hello, I'm Myx/Caro! I'm a very passionate workaholic who loves to learn, help others and engage in community work to support the communities I love. I usually help with moderation, quality assurance related work and take interest in most areas of game development and hope to someday learn more in-depth about these fields. On my downtime, I'm often seen drawing as a way to relax while I go over my day. Sometimes I also hang out with people I know and don't know alike by playing games or simply chatting but I'm mostly a quiet individual who enjoys working.
I see you're interested in knowing more about the work I do for communities- Please note this is a relatively long read since I typically have a lot to say regarding this. I hope you'll consider me!☾ Moderation Summary & FAQ (If you don't wanna read my whole backstory) ☾
1). Why should you consider me for a paid position(?): I'm very active and don't have a lot to do with my time at this moment, am hardworking and can juggle multiple other communities without breaking a sweat, extremely driven/work-motivated, patient and remain kind even during the roughest times. I am also very stress-resistant, meaning I rarely get stressed. I'm very confident in my decision-making skills and can take the lead if necessary for larger team decisions.2). What is your moderation style like(?): I play a very neutral, but kind and strictly professional side no matter what. I don't believe in workspaces that talk badly about our members no matter what the severity of their infraction may be (unless it stems more-so into a crime, of course). I do not block members no matter what they've done, even if they are directly harassing me and even if the others would recommend doing so. I am a strong believer once my eyes are set on a specific belief and so I am always "someone to talk to". (I am typically someone people find a sense of comfort in, even random strangers, so I prefer to stay neutral with all parties).
While this may seem like a drastic downside to my ability to moderate, it proves productive to always find a middle ground and never be caught in the crossfire. It's a style I'm very proud of, and intend to stick to.3). What're your downfalls/where do you struggle(?): Sometimes I forget that moderation is a collaborative/team effort if I feel that my co-workers aren't putting in the equal amount of effort that I do (and, or) have the same workloads. As a result, I may jump head first and want to do moderation tasks solo. However, this is something I'm actively trying to work on with voluntary positions.
Rarely, I may also become very introverted, but that usually is me just warming up to the people I work with.4). What types of games/genres do you moderate for(?): I typically moderate for a variety of communities. Ranging from dinosaurs to art communities. It's honestly going to depend as sometimes I get interested in concepts I'd never have imagined.5). What communities will you support(?): Anything on Discord for any animal/prehistoric-related game. I prefer to stray away from forums or web-based games as I know I won't be able to properly and thoroughly provide my support for it unless I show direct interest in the project. But please, don't let that deter you from still showing me what you have to offer!6). I'm interested in making you a moderator for my community. Where can I contact you(?): Thank you! That means a lot that I can at least see the project. The fastest way to get a response from me is through Discord, which was on the previous page. But if you don't have that, then Instagram (@carouselwolf) is the next fastest way. I'll only provide my business email to studios/companies looking to hire moderators.🌒︎ My Moderation Journey/Backstory (So Far!) 🌒︎
While I don't have an exact date as to when I first started moderation, I've been a voluntary moderator for closer to 6 years as of 2024, which dials back to 2019. I moderated a small server within' a game called The Isle, the server had about 100 or so members and it taught me quite a bit about in-game moderation as well as regular moderation because my co-workers were incredibly nice/helpful while I also helped manage our small Discord and the users in it. Despite how young I was at the age of 14, I was quickly promoted to Administrator for the first time ever for a strong sense of maturity, quick learning and my knowledge surrounding the field. This server really helped me realize how much I loved moderating to help people to the absolute best of my ability and my love for moderation has not withered in the slightest, I've always considered it a hobby ever since. So much so, that I'm very often seen moderating more than 4 communities at a time (over Discord, for example) with over 2-5K+ members each and I only plan to only increase that number. I also want to turn moderation into a career for myself to make some form of income (I am in a situation where that is extremely difficult for me to do).I am the type who is genuinely interested in learning new things in all fields of moderation and in general. There's still so much that I can do to constantly improve my skillset and lots I could learn and so I 'venture to moderate all communities within' my field of interest so not only can I experience the joy of helping people, but I can also experience the joy of getting the experience necessary to keep bettering myself as a person and a moderator to achieve something bigger for myself.
Despite being introverted, I consider myself to be extremely work motivated, driven, enthusiastic and confident in my decisions. I always want to bring more to the team and to the game/Discord server we moderate for or if there's something else you want me to see if I'd be interested in moderating, I'd love to hear it!I'd really like to someday move up from being a voluntary moderator given my level of experience and work for servers that pay with real money (and, or) at studios/companies that may be accepting moderators for a project. If I moderate a Discord server, I will not accept Discord Nitro as payment. I'm wanting actual income! Please feel free to ask me questions, express concerns, or express anything of that sort! Thank you for reading!Quality Assurance
This is a field I'm still getting used to and dipping my toes in the water since it was very unexpected. I've had quite a few "tester" type positions that I was handpicked for (servers on Discord exceeded 30-80K+ members) where we were a safety net for the actual QA team. I've also found bug testing to be extremely fun as well as testing new mechanics and features for a game. I also get extremely excited to work with others towards the same goal and see what the community thinks of the update so many different parties helped make and polish for them. It provides an incredibly exciting feeling to see all the reactions, whether positive or negative. I mainly just play and bug test, as well as find any map errors/areas the player might fall through (if any).

Commission Rules
I have the right to decline any commission I can't do or otherwise am not comfortable with. I want to give you the best possible experience when drawing for you. so if I decline your commission, I'm doing what I believe is best, especially if I can't draw it.
Please be patient and respectful. If you have suggestions or improvement for me, I'd love to hear it as long as you're constructive. The more I draw, the more I improve so all commissions are appreciated.
Any artwork I make for an individual can only be exclusively used by them. Do not use my artwork if I didn't make it for you. I also don't allow any form of commercial use unless I specifically offer.
All purchases are final. Once I draw 50% of a commission, you are required to pay upon the pieces' completion. I trust my commissioners to pay once I finish their artwork. So please ensure you have the payment ready or set some money aside for me in advance. If you dislike the finished piece, I am more than happy to fix/redo the artwork, but please don't chargeback or not pay me for my efforts! (If you feel more comfortable paying upfront, please let me know and we can set that up as well).
Finally, please don't be afraid to express your concerns or ask me questions. It'll do more harm than good if you don't ask questions or express your thoughts/feelings. So I ask all my commissioners to be honest with me, I will sincerely appreciate it.
